ELECTRODEPOSITION OF ZIRCONIUM FROM DMSO SOLUTION ELEKTROOSADZANIE CYRKONU Z ROZTWORU DMSO Investigations of voltammetry zirconium deposition from DMSO
Investigations of voltammetry zirconium deposition from DMSO solution on different substrates were taken. It was found that this is multi-electron process proceeding in a few stages. Moreover, zirconium layers were obtained on titanium, copper stainless steel and nickel. Obtained deposit was in form of white powder, which immediately was oxidized to ZrO2 in the presence of air.
متن کاملGalvanostatic Electrodeposition of Ni-Co Alloys in DMSO under a Magnetic Field
This paper focuses on the galvanostatic magneto-electrodeposition of Ni-Co alloys in dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) in the presence and absence of a permanent parallel magnetic field (PPMF) to the cathode surface. It was found that the mass deposition was enhanced in the presence of PPMF (9 T) compared with the deposition without PPMF. The percentage enhancement potential ( %) was elevated ( 5% = 2...
متن کاملElectrodeposition from supercritical fluids.
Recent studies have shown that it is possible to electrodeposit a range of materials, such as Cu, Ag and Ge, from various supercritical fluids, including hydrofluorocarbons and mixtures of CO2 with suitable co-solvents. In this perspective we discuss the relatively new field of electrodeposition from supercritical fluids. The perspective focuses on some of the underlying physical chemistry and ...
متن کاملZinc Electrodeposition from Acetate Solutions
he electrodeposition of zinc on iron and steel for protection T against corrosion was first proposed in 1840. The combination of aesthetic appeal and protection thus provided has established bright zinc plating as an important process in modern industry. In today's technology, zinc is preferably deposited from acid-type electrolytes, especially chloride, as an alternative to those based on cyan...
متن کاملTemplate electrodeposition of single-phase p- and n-type copper indium diselenide (CuInSe2) nanowire arrays.
CuInSe(2) nanowire arrays were fabricated by electrodeposition from aqueous solutions of copper sulfate, indium sulfate, selenium dioxide, and citric acid, using anodic alumina membranes as templates. X-ray diffraction patterns showed that the wires were single phase (chalcopyrite structure) but polycrystalline, and a band gap of ∼1 eV was obtained from optical measurements. TEM and SEM confirm...
